our client's need was simple: to have a space to organize, obtain, and prioritize information through documents that could be accessed and/or downloaded by any user within the company who needs it and has permission to do so.

we started by analyzing how other companies use their own knowledge managers, and since it is an internal company tool, we conducted several interviews with end users to find out what requirements and/or problems they encountered when searching for documents. Oonce we had gathered information about the users and used the various knowledge management examples we obtained through our benchmarking work, we created a wireframe to conduct A/B tests with the client. This helped us identify which elements were most necessary for the user and which were less so, allowing us to better organize the information and the overall structure of our site.
